How to Start Meditation

Meditation is a practice that Buddhist have been doing for many decades. It's a practice where you clear your mind of negative thoughts and energy and transform it all to positivity. A happy mind leads a happy life. It has been scientifically proven that negative emotions, thoughts, worries, and action leads the mind and body to be prone to pain, illness and fatigue. Review the list below and start immediately to find your Zen.


  1.  Find a place with minimal to no noise. in order to meditate you need a place to sit where you won't be distracted or bothered

  2. You can use a cushion on the floor sitting crossing your legs (Indian style) or seat on a chair or couch

  3. Start with 5 min exercises. Concentrate and focus on your breathing. Count every breathe you take in and out. 

  4. You are more than welcome to burn essence that will bring you ease. I like to burn sage.

  5. Allow your negative thoughts to drift away and imagine yourself in the most peaceful area you've ever been to. Focus on the that peace and happiness. Never forget your breathing. 

  6. Practice as much as possible everyday and soon 5 mins will become 10 and even longer. Let your positive views and feelings stay in the mind.
